LAHORE : With the arrival of the monsoon season, Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) and WASA Lahore have launched a joint action plan to ensure effective drainage across the city.

Under this strategy, continuous monitoring of low-lying areas, busy roads, and sensitive locations is being carried out through Safe City cameras. This real-time surveillance helps identify water accumulation and sewerage issues promptly, enabling quick response by WASA teams. According to details, images and live video feeds from Safe City cameras are being shared with WASA officials, allowing them to take immediate drainage measures in affected areas. WASA representatives are present at the PSCA Control Room round the clock to ensure rapid coordination and response to any emergency situation. further advised to the citizens to avoid unnecessary travel during rains, exercise caution in low-lying areas, and report any emergency or complaint by dialing the 15 Emergency Helpline. Joint teams of Punjab Safe Cities Authority and WASA remain on high alert to serve the citizens and continuously monitor the situation across the city.
