ISLAMABAD: Punjab Secretary Price Control and Commodities Management Secretary Dr Ehsan Bhutta has said that strict compliance of price control mechanism will be now observed in every district.

He was addressing the meeting of Extra Assistant District Agriculture Officers here in office yesterday. DG PAMRA Tariq Basra, Director E&M Shami, Additional Secretary Commodities Khalid Bashir D.G. Sahulat Bazar Company Naveed, All Divisional headquarter EADAs, Director headquarter EADA and all divisional head quarter market Committee Secretaries attended the meeting. Dr. Ehsan Bhutta said that Extra Assistant District Agriculture Officers will convene price control meetings in their districts being Secretary under Deputy Comnissioner. They will check performance of Price control magisterates.
Forecasting of vegetables and fruits be ensured and timely intervention be made either stakeholder/ traders/ arthies.
Mandis shifting at Sheikhupura, Kahna Lacha, Pakpattan be ensured by next month. All Secretary Market committees to ensure recovery of dues otherwise they will be responsible. PIAM to arrange trainings on price control, chain management, AI use, EPAD etc for all employees.
Dr. Ehsan Bhutta further directed that Punjab Agricultural Management Regulatory Authority would complete their development projects and Director General Pamra to visit all sites. He directed to arrange farewell ceremonies for all retiring officers, clear all pension cases and clear all dues of those who died during service, he concluded.
