LAHORE — On the special directives of DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, Investigation Police launched a decisive crackdown against proclaimed offenders (POs) during Eid holidays, resulting in the arrest of three dangerous fugitives wanted in murder and attempted murder cases.
In a series of successful operations:
• Investigation Team of Shahdara Police Station apprehended a proclaimed offender involved in a murder case.

• Investigation Team of Lower Mall Police Station arrested another PO, also wanted for murder, from Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The accused had allegedly shot and killed a private company’s security guard in 2023.
• Meanwhile, the Investigation Team of Shahdara Town Police Station, led by its Incharge, conducted a targeted raid in Pind Dadan Khan, District Jhelum, arresting a fugitive who had reportedly shot and injured his sister-in-law in 2024 over a domestic dispute.
DIG Zeeshan Raza stated that the accused had remained absconding since the incidents, but were tracked down using modern technology and human intelligence.
“No matter where proclaimed offenders hide — within the country or abroad — they will be brought to justice,” declared DIG Zeeshan Raza.
He emphasized that the operations reflect the commitment of Lahore Investigation Police to uphold the law and ensure justice for victims. He further added that with strong police-prosecution partnerships, the arrested criminals would be dealt with firmly under the law.
The crackdown is part of an ongoing operation targeting hardened criminals and fugitives in the city.
In recognition of their performance, SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed has announced commendation certificates for the participating police teams.
