WASHINGTON : Head of Pakistan’s Diplomatic Mission Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Meets U.S. Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party and head of Pakistan’s diplomatic mission, held an important meeting in Washington with Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, Ranking Member of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on South and Central Asia.
During the meeting, Chairman Bhutto Zardari appreciated Congresswoman Dove’s efforts in advancing human rights and expressed grave concern over India’s use of baseless allegations to target innocent civilians, including women and children.
He stated that the Indian government is not only responsible for grave human rights violations within its borders but is now also attempting to violate human rights across borders, which is a blatant breach of international law.
Chairman Bhutto Zardari noted that India has suffered substantial military losses in recent skirmishes, yet its government is misleading its people with false claims of victory, thereby denying them access to accurate information.
He further acknowledged the positive role the United States has played in promoting peace in South Asia, but stressed the need for Washington to expand its efforts to restrain India’s growing militarism.
The meeting concluded with an agreement between Chairman Bhutto Zardari and Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
