LAHORE – A delegation comprising prominent members from various sectors of trade and industry paid a courtesy visit to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) and congratulated Mr. Khalid Usman on assuming charge as the Acting President.

The visiting members appreciated Mr. Usman’s commitment to addressing the issues being faced by the business community and praised his long-standing contributions towards the promotion of trade, commerce, and industry. They presented him with a bouquet as a gesture of goodwill and expressed their confidence in his leadership.
Speaking on the occasion, Acting President Khalid Usman thanked the delegation for their kind wishes and assured them that the LCCI would continue to serve as a strong bridge between the business community and government institutions. He said that boosting trade activities and ensuring ease of doing business remain top priorities for the Chamber.
Mr. Usman emphasized the importance of collective efforts and strong coordination among stakeholders to resolve business challenges, especially in the current economic climate. He also reiterated the Chamber’s resolve to raise voice at all relevant forums for the resolution of problems related to taxation, energy, imports, exports, and regulatory policies.
The delegation, which included representatives from the textile, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and import-export sectors, shared their concerns and offered suggestions for improving the business environment in Lahore and beyond. They also acknowledged the LCCI’s proactive role in policymaking and advocacy.
The meeting ended on a positive note with a mutual understanding to work jointly for economic revival and strengthening public-private partnerships. The delegation lauded Mr. Usman’s vision and hoped that under his leadership, the LCCI would continue to thrive as a strong advocate for Pakistan’s business community.
