LAHORE – The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has issued an official notification announcing that its President, Mian Abuzar Shad, will be out of the country from June 3 to June 9, 2025. During his absence, the responsibilities of the President will be carried out by Engr. Khalid Usman, Senior Vice President of the Chamber.

This transition was confirmed via an official office order signed by Mian Abuzar Shad and circulated among key office bearers and department heads. It ensures continuity in leadership and smooth functioning of the Chamber’s operations in his temporary absence.
Engr. Khalid Usman is a seasoned entrepreneur and a graduate of the University of the Punjab. He has been an active figure in Lahore’s business community since 2001 and currently heads Water Regime (Pvt) Ltd., a company specializing in water and wastewater treatment technologies. Under his leadership, the company has executed over 150 major projects, including Pakistan’s largest industrial-scale Ultra Filtration System (400 m³/hr) and Reverse Osmosis Plant (300 m³/hr).
His contributions extend beyond business. He has represented Pakistan at numerous international conferences across the USA, UK, Europe, UAE, China, Turkey, Malaysia, and other countries. He has presented research papers on water and environmental technologies and led a delegation of over 100 businessmen to Turkey under the MUSIAD platform.
Engr. Usman is also the President of the Progressive Group (LCCI), President of the Lahore chapter and Central Secretary General of the Pakistan Business Forum, and a former Executive Committee Member of LCCI (2018-19).
His dynamic leadership and global experience make him a fitting choice to act as LCCI President during this interim period.
