LAHORE: Punjab’s Minister for Sports, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, extended heartfelt congratulations to Arshad Nadeem for winning the javelin throw final at the Asian Athletics Championship. He said that once again, Arshad Nadeem has brought immense pride to Pakistan on the international stage. This remarkable achievement is a moment of great honor for the entire nation.

Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar hailed Arshad Nadeem as a “true hero of Pakistan,” stating that his hard work, determination, and commitment serve as an inspiration for young athletes across the country. He also acknowledged the vital role played by the Punjab Sports Board in supporting Arshad Nadeem’s training journey, adding that athletes like him are the pride and symbol of the province’s forward-looking sports policy.
The Minister further stated that the Government of Punjab places the highest priority on nurturing young talent, and to that end, a state-of-the-art sports complex in Mian Channu will be established in Arshad Nadeem’s name. This facility will provide quality training and infrastructure to young athletes at the grassroots level.
Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar emphasized that the efforts of Chief Minister Punjab to promote sports are now bearing fruit. Under the Chief Minister’s visionary leadership, athletes from Punjab are raising Pakistan’s flag at international arenas. The Sports Minister reiterated that the Punjab government is committed to advancing sports development as a top priority, and Arshad Nadeem’s success is a shining reflection of that mission.
