LAHORE : The 3rd International Media and Communication Conference (IMCC 2025), organized by the Department of Communication & Media Research, School of Communication Studies, University of the Punjab, commenced with great enthusiasm at the Auditorium of the Institute of Administrative Sciences, University of the Punjab.

The event witnessed the participation of prominent scholars, media professionals, and policymakers from across the country and abroad.
The Chief Guest for the opening session was Ramesh Singh Arora, Provincial Minister for Minorities, who lauded the efforts of the organizing committee for addressing a topic of growing global relevance—Media and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In his address, He appreciated the efforts of the Department of Communication & Media Research, University of the Punjab, for organizing this timely and crucial conference. The intersection of media and artificial intelligence is the need of the hour,” remarked Minister Arora during his keynote address said that countries that are advancing rapidly in AI and communication technologies are emerging as global leaders. This conference is a significant step toward ensuring that Pakistan is not left behind in this transformative era.
Mr. Arora extended his congratulations to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah, and commended the leadership and dedication of Prof. Dr. Noshina Saleem (Head of Department), Prof. Dr. Mian Hannan, and the entire team at the Department of Media and Communication Research for organizing a highly successful and impactful event.
