LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Sports, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Lahore Qalandars on their splendid victory in the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He stated that this win is not only a success for the team but a matter of pride and joy for the entire nation.

The minister paid tribute to all the players and management of Lahore Qalandars for their tireless efforts, professionalism, and commitment. He especially appreciated the performances of Hasan Nawaz, Kusal Perera, and Sikandar Raza in the final match, praising their outstanding display of skill.
He remarked that today’s win signifies more than just a sporting achievement—it is a victory for Pakistan. “The success of the tournament is a success for the whole nation and has projected a positive image of Pakistan to the world.”
He further added that such sporting events not only engage youth in healthy activities but also promote peace, tolerance, and brotherhood. “Let the enemies of Pakistan know that we are a peace-loving and united nation,” he declared.
“An event like the PSL is a symbol of Pakistan’s bright future, and the Government of Punjab is fully committed to the development of sports in the province,” said the provincial minister.
Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar also thanked all the institutions and stakeholders involved in organizing the tournament, acknowledging their efforts in making the event a great success.
