ISLAMABAD: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), Chief of Army Staff, hosted a dinner to honour Pakistan’s political leadership, the Armed Forces, and the resilient spirit of the nation demonstrated during Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.
The event was attended by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, key federal and provincial leaders, military chiefs, and senior officials. Attendees paid tribute to the unity, leadership, and sacrifices that guided the nation through a defining chapter in its history.
In his address, the Army Chief thanked the political leadership for their strategic guidance, praised the Armed Forces’ coordination, and highlighted the vital role of youth, media, scientists, and diplomats in confronting external threats and misinformation.
The evening reflected Pakistan’s collective strength, resilience, and commitment to moving forward in unity.
