LAHORE – Lahore Police have arrested three suspects within hours of an alleged sexual assault incident involving a 14-year-old differently-abled girl in the Green Town area.

DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, took immediate notice of the incident and ordered prompt action. In compliance, a special investigation team was constituted under the supervision of SP Investigation Sadar, Moazzam Ali.
Acting swiftly, the Green Town Police, under the leadership of the area in-charge, conducted a successful operation and apprehended all three suspects. The arrests were made with the assistance of advanced technology and human intelligence.
SP Investigation Sadar stated that all necessary evidence is being compiled to ensure a strong case is presented in court, with the aim of securing appropriate punishment through due legal process.
DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza reaffirmed the department’s zero-tolerance policy towards crimes against women and children, stressing that such acts are reprehensible and will be met with the full force of the law.
In acknowledgment of the team’s swift and effective response, SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed announced commendation certificates for the officers involved in the operation.
