“The Sikh nation has once again proven that it does not compromise on the principles of peace, brotherhood, and truth. The support shown by Sikhs living across the world especially in India, the United States, Canada, Europe, and Switzerland for the stance of the Pakistan Army is a historic message that truth knows no borders,” he said.
He further stated that attempts by certain malicious elements to sow division within the Sikh community following the recent incident in Pahalgam failed miserably, and the Sikh nation demonstrated a shining example of unity and cohesion. The song released by young Indian Sikhs, declaring, “We cannot say murdabad to Pakistan,” was not only a courageous stance but also a message that stirred the conscience of the global community.
The minister praised the constructive and positive stance of the International Sikh Diaspora and the World Sikh Parliament, stating that the teachings of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji continue to guide the world towards peace, tolerance, and equality. He reiterated that the Sikh community in Pakistan stands firmly with the Constitution, armed forces, and national institutions of the country.
“We are not a minority; we are loyal citizens of Pakistan and stand shoulder to shoulder with our armed forces and nation in every time of trial,” said Arora. Ramesh Singh Arora thanked the global Sikh community for their show of unity and said, “Today is a day to honor the dignity, vision, and peaceful mission of the Sikh nation.”
