During the general debate on wheat, no minister was present in the Punjab Assembly to respond. The opposition started protesting in the Punjab Assembly over the arrest of the opposition leader from Adiala Jail.
During the question hour, panel of chairman Samiullah Khan referred the matter to the committee for not receiving questions about the private university and sought a report within two months.
In the Punjab Assembly meeting chaired by the panel of Chairperson Samiullah Khan, Samiullah Khan became angry over the unsatisfactory answers of Parliamentary Secretary Osama Leghari regarding the Agriculture Department. In the meeting, Samiullah Khan referred the matter of Junaid Afzal Sahi’s answers regarding the area of the Faisalabad Ayub Research Center and the Agricultural University in Faisalabad to the committee and directed them to respond within two months.
When it came to proceeding with the general debate on wheat procurement, no minister was present in the house except a parliamentary secretary. The government and opposition members were unanimous in their opposition over the government’s lack of interest. They demanded a stricter wheat policy from the government. Criticized, former Minister of Minerals and League leader Sher Ali Khan said that the presence of a parliamentary secretary in the house instead of a minister shows the government’s interest, we were asked to cultivate wheat by deception, now the government is not buying, if the government has decided not to buy wheat from the landlord, then clearly say that they will not buy wheat, government ally Ali Haider Gilani said what to do with the wheat crop on 15 million acres, if they do not announce the support price, then tell us your future plan, after the government’s attitude towards wheat, the remaining crops are being damaged,
