LAHORE: The delegation was given a comprehensive briefing on the operations of various departments, the use of advanced technologies, and the modern policing system implemented by the Authority.

During the visit, students were briefed on initiatives related to Women Safety, Child Protection, the Intelligent Traffic Management System, and the Emergency Response System.
The delegation was informed that the Authority has introduced several effective measures such as the Women Safety App, Panic Button, and Live Chat Feature to ensure the swift resolution of harassment and other issues faced by women.
The students appreciated the impactful role of the Virtual Women Police Station and acknowledged the encouraging number of women who are benefiting from its services. They also lauded the initiatives of the Virtual Center for Child Safety.
Additionally, the delegation was briefed on the working of the Safe City Virtual Blood Bank. According to the spokesperson, many students registered themselves as blood donors to support this humanitarian initiative.
The visiting students praised the Authority’s modern policing systems and stated that such innovations are contributing positively to police culture. They termed this transformation a commendable step toward citizen-centric policing.
