LAHORE – Under the directives of CEO Lesco Muhammad Ramzan Butt CSD Abbas ali and in line with the given recovery targets, LESCO South Circle led by SE Muhammad Ashfaq and EXN Gulberg Muhammad Tahir has achieved remarkable success through the efforts of SDO Shahid Raza and the recovery staff of Rahmanpura Subdivision.
The team not only met the set recovery target but surpassed it, achieving 121% private recovery and an overall recovery rate of 118% — the highest in Gulberg Division.
In addition to recovery efforts, a vigorous crackdown on electricity theft has been launched, resulting in the registration of more than 15 FIRs and the issuance of detection bills worth thousands of rupees. EXN Muhammad Tahir has appreciated the outstanding performance of the subdivision.
Sources reveal that the recovery campaign in Rahmanpura Subdivision is in full swing. SDO Shahid Raza personally sets daily targets for the line staff in the morning and conducts review meetings in the evening at the office, assessing disconnections and recovery progress. The compiled reports are then submitted to the EXEN and Revenue Office.
Consumers have been urged to pay their electricity bills within the due date to avoid disconnection. Authorities have warned that in cases of non-payment, not only will meters be disconnected, but new meters installed at the same premises will also be removed.
