Engineer Ameer Zamir Khan congratulated Rana Azhar Waqar on his appointment

LAHORE- Rana Azhar Waqar has officially taken charge as the new Chairman of the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC). The occasion was marked by his first meeting with senior officials, including Planning Commission Monitoring In-charge Engineer Ameer Zamir Khan and FIEDMC CEO Mian Jameel Ahmed.

During the meeting, Chairman Waqar took notice of delays in the grid station project, which have hindered the timely issuance of industrial connections.
Expressing gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for her trust and support, he pledged to transform FIEDMC into a model institution through his utmost efforts and dedication.
Chairman Waqar also urged the federal government to establish a state-of-the-art Expo Center in Faisalabad—Pakistan’s key industrial hub—to further enhance industrial growth under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Meanwhile, Engineer Ameer Zamir Khan congratulated Rana Azhar Waqar on his appointment and extended best wishes. He assured the Chairman of full federal support, acknowledging FIEDMC’s crucial role in driving industrial development.
