If Kalabagh Dam existed, thousands of canals could have been drained from it, he said.

Punjab Assembly passes multiple bills, establishes Facilitation Bazaar Authority

The Punjab Letters of Administration and Secession Certificates Amendment Bill 2025, The Universities and Institutes Laws Amendment Bill 2025 were presented in the Punjab Assembly by government member Amjad Ali Javed.
The National College of Business Administration and Economics Lahore Amendment Bill 2025, the National College of Business Administration and Economics Lahore Amendment Bill 2025.
The Factories Amendment Bill 2025 and The Punjab Industrial Relations Amendment Bill 2025 were presented in the house.
All the bills presented in the Punjab Assembly were handed over to the relevant committees for two months.
Opposition Leader Ahmed Khan Bhachar A resolution was presented in the House on the increasing cases of cancer.
The response to this resolution has not come yet. The Chairman Speaker said that this is the last chance. If the response is not received next time, the resolution will be approved by voting.
The number of cancer patients is increasing rapidly across the country, including Punjab. One in every eight women is suffering from breast cancer. The population of Punjab province is 130 million, while facilities for cancer patients at the government level are inadequate. Cancer patients should be provided with modern treatment facilities at the government level so that the increase in various types of cancer cases and the death rate can be reduced by timely diagnosis. Opposition Leader Ahmed Bhachar said that the government is so incompetent that only 25% of the health budget has been spent and now the government is going to privatize 1,000 health centers, which will make people unemployed.
