ISLAMABAD: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has lauded the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) for its commendable role in fostering a business-friendly environment and facilitating investments in Pakistan.

In an official letter addressed to LCCI President Mian Abuzar Shad, SIFC acknowledged the chamber’s outstanding contributions toward economic stability, industrial cost reduction, and skill development to boost exports. The letter specifically highlighted LCCI’s efforts in promoting Special Economic Zones (SEZs), mineral exports, information technology, energy, agriculture, and the manufacturing sectors as key drivers of national economic growth.
The appreciation follows a recent visit by the National Coordinator of SIFC to LCCI, which provided a valuable platform for constructive dialogue between the business community and the council. The visit underscored LCCI’s commitment to strengthening economic policies and facilitating investment opportunities across various sectors.
The SIFC expressed its eagerness for continued collaboration with LCCI to further enhance the ease of doing business in Pakistan. The letter reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working alongside LCCI in building a more prosperous and investment-friendly economy.
