LAHORE: Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (LCCI) Import & Export Standing Committee convened a crucial meeting, chaired by Committee Chairman Shoaib Batalvi and Vice Chairman Mian Sohail Ahmed Taj.

The meeting was attended by committee members, including Ramzan Shakir, Muhammad Nadeem, Muhammad Jahangir, Naseeb Tabassum, Joint Secretary Mubeen Akram, journalists, Akmal Owaisi Pirzada from Punjab Anti-Narcotics, and APP President Abdul Rehman.
The session began with a recitation from the Holy Quran. Vice Chairman Mian Sohail Ahmed Taj congratulated Shoaib Batalvi on writing the first book on import and export, acknowledging his vast experience in the field and expressing confidence in his leadership to drive the committee towards growth.
During the meeting, Shoaib Batalvi provided a detailed briefing on import and export issues and engaged in an in-depth discussion with members regarding challenges faced by exporters. He assured the attendees that, under the leadership of LCCI President Mian Abuzar Shad, all trade-related concerns would be addressed promptly.
Batalvi also highlighted his commitment to aligning with the economic vision of the Army Chief and the Prime Minister. He announced plans to establish a “School of Export” to encourage young entrepreneurs to start their own businesses instead of seeking jobs. He vowed to bring this initiative to the government’s attention soon.
In his concluding remarks, Shoaib Batalvi expressed gratitude to Mian Anjum Nisar, Mian Zafar Mehmood, and Mian Abuzar Shad for entrusting him with key responsibilities.
