LAHORE: Opposition members has protested in Punjab Assembly, holding placards in their hands and raising slogans.

They walked out of the house chanting slogans of “Release the founder of PTI”.
Opposition leader Ahmed Bhachar said that raids were conducted on their members’ houses.

“We are speaking here in the Assembly only to be part of the record. We know that you, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, are helpless. We are protesting against the attitude of the establishment,” Buchar said.
Five more bills were presented during the official proceedings in the session.
The Punjab Public Private Partnership Bill 2025, the Punjab Forensic Science Authority Bill 2025, the Punjab Local Government (Amendment) Bill 2025, the Punjab Infrastructure Development Cess (Amendment) Bill 2025, and the Punjab Vagrancy (Amendment) Bill 2025 were presented in the session.
All the bills were presented by the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman.
The five bills were referred to the committees.
