LAHORE: Lahore Police have ramped up enforcement against kite flying under the Kite Flying Prohibition Act, leading to the arrest of 370 individuals and the registration of 366 cases this year.
This was stated by the spokesman Lahore Police in a statement issued today. He added that during various operations, authorities seized over 19,000 kites and 555 spools of kite string from offenders.

Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana emphasized that those threatening human lives under the guise of entertainment will not be shown any leniency. He has directed an intensified crackdown on violators and reaffirmed Lahore Police’s commitment to strictly enforcing the amended Kite Flying Prohibition Act.
CCPO Lahore further underscored that the Kite Flying Act is being rigorously implemented across the city. He urged citizens to act responsibly and report any kite flying-related violations to the police by calling helpline 15.
