LAHORE: In a significant political development in Lahore’s business community, the Founders Group has suffered yet another setback as a senior leader has switched sides.
Imran Bashir, the Senior Vice Chairman of the Market Committee, a former EC Member of Lahore Chamber, and the Chairman of Khidmat Group Hall Road, has officially left the Founders Group and joined the Pioneers Businessmen Group (PBG) under the leadership of Chairman Ali Hussam Asghar.
At the time of his inclusion in PBG, the group’s Chief Organizer Usman Malik and former EC Member Asim Siddiqui were also present.

Yousaf Shah credits PBG leadership for shifting Lahore’s business politics
Welcoming Imran Bashir and his associates, Ali Hussam Asghar acknowledged the efforts of Chief Organizer Usman Malik in making this move possible. He emphasized that PBG stands firmly with the business community through all challenges and remains committed to serving Lahore’s traders with dedication.
This latest defection marks a further weakening of the Founders Group, reinforcing PBG’s rising influence in Lahore’s business politics.
