LAHORE– In a ceremony held at the National Heritage and Culture Center, celebrated mastreo Sajjad Hussain Tafu was awarded the National Heritage and Culture Award for his outstanding contributions to the field of music and cultural preservation. The award was presented by Kamran Lashari, a prominent Bureaucrat, who appreciated Tafu’s devotion to promoting Pakistan’s rich musical heritage.

The event, attended by dignitaries, artists, and cultural enthusiasts, highlighted Sajjad Tafu’s valuable journey as a musician and his efforts to revive and preserve traditional Pakistani music. Known for his mastery of the sitar and his innovative fusion of classical and contemporary styles, Tafu has earned acclaim both nationally and internationally.
