LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) delegations led by Bahram Khan Buzdar, district president PPP Dera Ghazi Khan called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore.
During the meeting, Abdullah Baig, the member of the central executive committee of the Pakistan Ideological Party and Noman Rajput, the President of Lahore, announced joining the People’s Party. On this occasion, Rana Farooq Saeed Khan, the senior vice president of Pakistan People’s Party Central Punjab, was also present.

Governor Sardar Saleem Haider while addressing the delegates said that Pakistan People’s Party believes in politics of service and has always worked for the welfare of the downtrodden. Governor Punjab welcomed the leaders who joined the party and appreciated the efforts of party leader Faisal Mir. The Governor of Punjab stated that people are joining the party, after being inspired by the vision of the People’s Party. He proudly proclaimed his humble roots, saying he belongs to the worker class. The Governor emphasized that party workers and laborers are the backbone of the party. He acknowledged their tireless efforts and sacrifices with deep appreciation. He said that party workers are the asset of the party and he appreciates their hard work and sacrifices. Governor Punjab praised the unwavering dedication of party workers for their unrelenting support through challenging times. He emphasized that the doors of the Governor’s House are open to all, regardless of their party affiliation. The delegation informed the Governor Punjab about various problems. Governor Punjab assured the delegation of solving the problems.
Meanwhile, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of a school teacher and 3 children in a collision between a school van and a dumper in Sargodha. He expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased. Governor Punjab also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.
