LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan participated as the chief guest at the launch ceremony of the plastic app, which focuses on the recycling and usage of plastic materials.
On this occasion, the speaker remarked that the plastic waste around us is like a haunting nightmare.

He welcomed the “Suthra Punjab Program” as a commendable initiative.
“Our villages and towns are living in humiliating conditions, deprived of basic municipal facilities,” he said.
He further mentioned that the Government of Punjab has officially launched the “Suthra Punjab Program.”
This app should be integrated with the Punjab government’s project for greater success. The current government has taken a remarkable step.
The Speaker further added, “I have always been in favor of a complete ban on plastic bags. Plastic bags were visible everywhere, posing a significant problem across all sectors of life.”
