ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) issued a notification, announcing significant transfers and postings of senior officials across various wings and zones.

The changes have been approved by the Director General of the FIA and are effective immediately.
• Ahmed Rizwan Khan (Additional Director, Investigation, BS-19) has been transferred to the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Wing at FIA Headquarters, Islamabad.
• Qamar Zaman, Tariq Masood, Farrukh Baig, Muhammad Tariq, and Saad Ullah Khan (all Deputy Directors, Investigation, BS-18) have been reassigned to different key positions, including Anti-Human Smuggling (AHS) Wing and Parliamentary Business Cell (PBC) at FIA Headquarters.
• Mehsud (Deputy Director, BS-18) is now assigned to the Immigration Wing at FIA Headquarters.
• Director FIA Peshawar Zone will oversee additional responsibilities, including Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) operations.
• Bacha Khan International Airport (BKIAP) operations have been entrusted to the FIA Peshawar Zone.
The notification also included postings in logistics, engineering, and security divisions across various zones, including Gujranwala, Peshawar, and Islamabad.
The transfer and postings aims to strengthen the operational efficiency of the FIA in addressing critical challenges such as human smuggling, intellectual property violations, and immigration issues.
