LAHORE: In the Punjab Assembly, Punjab Law Minister Sohaib Bharath offered the opposition to hold talks on the cases and the issue of November 26th testimony. Opposition Leader Malik Ahmed Khan Bhachar said that we are ready but not to run away from the field.

The opposition also held a token walkout after the civil bureaucrat misbehaved with a government member in the meeting.

The 20th session of the Punjab Assembly held in the old building was very heated earlier. The opposition raised slogans of releasing the founder of PTI as soon as he arrived.
The opposition leader started a war of words by holding a token walkout after the PTI’s adjournment motion did not reach the committee. When the opposition returned, Law Minister Sohaib Bharath offered to hold talks on the fake cases and sit down and talk. He said that a politician has only one way out, he should not let the doors of negotiations close on him. We have taken a step forward, you should also take a step forward.
Opposition Leader Ahmed Khan Bhachar’s offer to the Law Minister But they said that we stand by what we said and are ready to talk if the House decides on a time and place and if the Law Minister asks them. Member of the Provincial Assembly Samiullah Khan said at the end of the meeting that if both parties sit together with their party mandate and start the process of negotiations, then this will be a great step for the Punjab Assembly.
In the session the draft law on the alternative resolution of disputes, Punjab, 2025, the draft law on the prohibition of kite flying, Punjab, 2025, and the draft law on the investigation of criminals, Punjab, 2025 were presented in the house, while ten audit reports were presented in the house. After the agenda was completed, Deputy Speaker Malik Zaheer Iqbal Chanar adjourned the meeting until 1 pm on Monday.
