NEW YORK (News Desk) – In what marks nothing else but a continuation of its unrelenting bombardment campaign, the Israeli army launched heavy airstrikes in Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, on Tuesday.
Like its stubborn approach on Gaza, Israel has ruled any ceasefire until, it vaguely said, a few goals are met.

Israel has repeatedly claimed that Hezbollah has embedded itself within the civilian bounds. This charge, however, has been dismissed by the group.
Since the launch of Israel’s bloody offensive in Lebanon, the health ministry said almost 3,002 people have been killed and 13,492 injured.
Human rights organizations, including a few countries, have raised questions and bashed Israel for its disregard for the innocent civilians during its military operations.
The situation could not be more worrisome and deplorable than in Gaza. Almost 45,000 have been killed by Israel since the launch of war. The United Nations has highlighted that nearly 70 percent of the casualties are of women and children.
