LAHORE: Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) President, Mian Abuzar Shad, Saturday visited the tomb of Allama Iqbal, accompanied by Senior Vice President Khalid Usman.

Shad paid homage, offered prayers, and received a guard of honor. Speaking to the media, Mian Abuzar emphasized the need to embrace Iqbal’s philosophy, saying, “Iqbal’s ideas are the key to progress and prosperity, not only for Pakistan but for the entire Muslim world.” He said that Iqbal’s teachings are studied and revered in Central Asia, highlighting their global impact.
Abuzar highlighted the nation’s unity has always been a priority, condemning any efforts to sow division and hatred, which he described as plans rooted in ulterior motives. He stressed that no political leader should be placed above the interests of Pakistan. He said youth empowerment aligned with Iqbal’s vision is essential for the country’s future stability and growth.
