LAHORE: In punjab assembly session while discussing the budget of the financial year 2023-24 the opposition leader Ahmed Khan Bhachar said that 2633 billion rupees have been kept in the non-development budget of the province, of which only 525 billion rupees have been spent so far.
In the ijlas the resolution presented by the Provincial Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rahman to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army and to pay tribute to his immense sacrifices in the war against terrorism was unanimously approved. This House pays full tribute to the steps taken to end the business of establishment and root out smuggling and terrorism.

While talking in the Punjab Assembly, the leader opposition Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar while discussing the budget expenditure of the current financial year said that they were kept in the development budget. Despite the passage of six months from 842 billion rupees, only 124 billion rupees have been released, while two thousand six hundred and thirty three billion rupees were kept in the non-development budget, of which five hundred and twenty five billion rupees have been spent so far. He said that the government has neither a vision nor any planning for financial expenses.
In the House of Punjab Assembly, the government members attacked their own government for not building roads and the minister could not satisfy the C&W members and kept giving consolation.
the speaker criticized the opposition for giving a political color to the issue of water. The speaker said that if the government does not pay attention, after fifteen years we will crave for a drop of drinking water.
Parliamentary sec admitted there are no strict laws on child labor due to which children are working in kilns and factories.
