LAHORE: Cosmetics Manufacturers Association held a ceremoney in honour of Mian Abuzar Shad, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), at a local hotel.
On the occasion, the LCCI president also administered oath to the newly elected office bearers and executive committee members of the association. During the event, Mian Abuzar Shad highlighted the immense potential of the cosmetics industry in Pakistan, stressing its contribution to the national economy. He noted that the sector not only generates employment but also plays a central role in export earnings. Highlighting the industry’s rapid growth, he pointed to the increasing demand for local cosmetics products in both domestic and international markets. “The cosmetics industry in Pakistan is evolving rapidly, with local manufacturers focusing on high-quality production standards. This growth is not just boosting our economy but also assisting us compete in the international market,” Mian Abuzar Shad stated. He further assured the LCCI’s full support to the industry, urging stakeholders to focus on innovation and expansion to enhance the sector’s global footprint.
