LAHORE: The 15th meeting of Punjab provincial cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, led to significant decisions.
The cabinet approved three major projects: “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” (housing project), the Chief Minister Green Tractor scheme and the Children Heart Surgery Programe.
Stricter penalties were introduced for illegal arms and fite flying , amendment in existing laws.
A new policy for MD-Cat exams and the establishment of Punjab’s first Life Insurance Company were approved. The government plans to build 500,000 homes in five years and 9500 subsidised tractors.
