Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has suspended membership of 11 opposition parliamentarians for next 15 sittings in house.

During the speech of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in the Punjab Assembly session on Friday, opposition members allegedly violated rules, tearing copies of the agenda, using unparliamentary language, targeting the leader of the government.
The act of the opposition prompted Punjab Assembly Speaker to suspend 11 members of the opposition form assembly.
The opposition members who were suspended included Zulfikar Ali PP 76, Rana Shahbaz Ahmed PP 130, Muhammad Arif PP 133, Muhammad Tayyab Rashid PP 141, Muhammad Imtiaz Mahmood PP 155, Hafiz Farhat Abbas PP 157, Chaudhry Muhammad Ijaz Shafi PP 258, Rana Aurangzeb PP 276, Shoaib Amir PP 281, Osama Asghar PP 282, Asad Abbas PP 18 suspended the assembly membership and banned 15 sittings of the meeting.
The suspended members will not be able to attend the meeting due to their conduct.[:]
