LAHORE: PML-N’ newly elected president Mian Nawaz Sharif has said paid overwhelming tributes for keeping the party intact during the hard times of the party.

He was addressing a meeting of general council of PML-N on the occasion of celebration of May 28, a day when Pakistan test fired nuclear bombs at the Chaghi, in Balochistan.
He also paid tributes to Hamza Shahbaz Sharif for facing hard times for the party.
Nawaz Sharof has been elected unopposed president of PML-N after six years.
During his speech, he said Pakistan’s prosperity had been snatched by five or six people.
“We have been implicated in the fake cases and our party was ruined. Today, cases against Imran Khan aren’t not fake but true,” he said.
“In 2013, I myself went to Banigala to meet Imran Khan, he told me to make a road leading to my home and I completed that road in 10 days. But, what happend? Imran Khan went to London and decided to depose me with the help of Tahirul Qadri and Pervaz Elahi,” Nawaz disclosed.
Talking about atomic tests, he said, “he was threatened of sanctions if Pakistan conducted the tests but I carried the tests to make Pakistan invincible,” Nawaz stated.
