LAHORE: Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has met leader of European Union program “Stable Parliament” Margaret Cook at the assembly chamber.

In the meeting, the continuation of the democratic system in Pakistan, the strength of the institutions and the supremacy of the Parliament were discussed in addition to the matters of personal interest.
The speaker paid tribute to the cooperation of the European Union in health, education and other sectors.
In the meeting, it was agreed to organise training workshops to create an e-parliament, to increase the efficiency of the members of the assembly and the assembly staff.
Malik Ahmed said the solution of public problems is in the supremacy of Parliament.
Making the people aware of the assembly proceedings is the first priority, he said.

Dr. Syed Parvez Abbas Deputy Team Leader “Stable Parliament Program”, Provincial Coordinator Faisal Malik Butar, Masood Sultan were also present in the delegation.
Secretary General Chaudhry Aamir Habib, Staff Officer Imad Hussain Bhali, Additional Secretary Malik Khalil Ahmed and Punjab Assembly spokesperson Rao Majid Ali were present from the Assembly Secretariat.
